Our Bandit SG-40 hydraulic grinder chews stumps down to 6″ below grade — deep enough that you’ll never see it again, whether you’re laying sod, pouring concrete, or planting a garden bed. Fits through most gates, handles residential stumps and commercial removals up to the biggest tree butts.
Ground Leveling
After grinding, we rake the chips back into the hole, contour the soil, and leave you a level patch of ground ready for whatever’s next. No trip hazard, no unsightly crater, no follow-up trip needed from your landscaper.
Debris Removal
Want the grindings gone? We haul them off the same day. Prefer to keep them for mulch or fill? We’ll pile them clean where you want them. Either way, we leave the site tidy.

How much does stump grinding cost?
Stumps are priced by diameter at ground level, so a quick photo is all we need for a firm quote. Small stumps start at a flat minimum; larger or multiple stumps are quoted per inch. Quotes are always free.
How deep do you grind?
We grind 4–8 inches below grade — deeper if you are replanting or laying sod — so you can reseed, plant, or build over the spot.
Do you clean up afterward?
Always. We haul the grindings away or leave them as free mulch, then rake the area level before we leave.
